It is not secure and can easily be stolen and used. Did you ever get an email with some strange message from an associate or friend. In you heart you were a little skeptical. You were right to be. Someone more than likely scraped your email or website. Scraping is “web harvesting, or web data extraction … for extracting data from websites.”

Most people know of the Firefox browser that has been pretty successful over the years and has a faithful following. Do you know about

Firefox Send

Firefox Send, a new entry in file sharing platforms. 

It has a drag & drop interface or a select file to upload interface. You can set an expiration time limit (after 1 day or 5 minutes) or limit the amount of downloads. (After 1 download or 100) Also you can password protect the download.  Also send up to 2.5 GB if you have a Firefox account. 1 GB if you do not want to sign up. All for FREE!!

The folks at Mozilla are reliable, security minded, privacy minded & are a nonprofit open source corporation.  

I will be switching to Firefox Send for all my file transfers.
